Canal Street – Nottingham

GG&P (UK) Ltd are employed as Quantity Surveyors on a prestigious new flagship development for local developers. 

The development consists of approximately 237 quality residential apartments with over 50,000 sq ft commercial space consisting of offices, restaurants and bars with approximately 200 underground car parking spaces.

Marco Island – Nottingham

A ten-storey extension was placed on the top of an existing Post Office Sorting Building to create 337 apartments and additional space for later fit out to create further penthouses and leisure accommodation.  The addition of ten-storeys to an existing building created unique problems which in association with the other members of the development team were overcome.  GG&P were appointed as Employers Agents for the Design and Build project.

No 1 Fletcher Gate (Formally A C Gill) – Nottingham

GG&P were appointed as Project Managers to assist Taylor Woodrow in the comprehensive redevelopment of a major city centre site. The completed development has provided 101 Executive Residential Units, 25,000 Ft² of A3/Retail space with associated basement car parking.

The development had many difficulties, including caves, various underground obstructions, inner city location and the construction of a tram system including tram station. The site was very high profile as it was extremely sensitive with the planners due to the location being very close to the heart of the city centre. The new development with its Lace Market style walkthrough provides a new Gateway to the centre of Historic Nottingham and the Lace Market.
